Women's ski tours offer women a chance to get away and take some time to truly hone in on their skiing skills. These women-only ski events focus on improving technique in a safe and supported environment - and of course, having fun and making friends, too! Adventure Women Downhill Ski Trips
Adventure Women Downhill Ski Camps at Bridger Bowl, Montana welcome all women, from those who have never set a ski on the slopes to expert skiers. With over 1,200 acres of skiing at Bridger Bowl, there’s terrain for everyone and no crowds or lift lines. The all-inclusive packages include a private hotel room, full breakfasts served in the hotel’s dining room, expert female ski instructors who provide small group lessons and guided afternoon skiing, and video analysis, as well. In addition to improving ski technique, the camps are based in Bozeman, Montana, so women will enjoy a wonderful small town with amazing mountain views among new friends.
Girlie Snow Camps
With locations in Switzerland, Sweden, and France, Girlie Snow Camps offers the opportunity to refine skiing technique while making friends in awesome locations. The Girlie Freeski Camps explores the premiere Funparks in Europe, where women ski during two sessions per day, receiving instruction from the most experienced coaches and trying out new tricks. For the more mature woman, the Ladies Ski Camps are all about “pleasure and well-being,” and the days end with yoga, relaxation, and nightlife activities. Camps are open to women of all ages and abilities.
Equinox Expeditions - Women's Nordic Ski Camp
Equinox Expeditions specializes in women-only wilderness expeditions. There are several opportunities female skiers can take advantage of, such as a Ski/Snowshoe Multi-Sport Camp that takes women from Whistler Sea to Sky Coast Mountains. The five-day trip is a “moderately strenuous” camp that includes backcountry Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. There are also Snowshoeing and Backcountry Ski Weeks in Whistler that range from one to five days, as well as a Women’s Ski Week in Norway featuring Nordic skiing. K2 Ultimte Groove Women's Telemark Ski Tour
K2 Ultimate Groove Women’s Telemark Camps are designed specifically female telemark skiers, with locations in New Hampshire, Colorado, and Washington. The telemark ski clinics are run by experienced PSIA level instructors, as well as former World Cup Team members, who offer cutting-edge coaching for women looking to jumpstart their skiing experience. Kirsty Exner's Women's Ski Camps
Kirsty Exner’s women’s ski camps are for intermediate through advanced skiers looking to maximize their own skills while safely pushing limits. Kirsty offers free-skiing camps at Red Mountain, where women can explore off-piste and powder terrain. Kirsty also offers “Extremely Canadian” general ski clinics. With a 1:6 group ratio, participants enjoy personalized coaching in a positive learning environment. Also included is the opportunity to demo skis, après-ski entertainment, catered meals, and an awards ceremony with prizes. Kirsty’s extensive experience as a World Extreme Free-skiing two-time silver medalist, alpine ski coach, and Pilates instructor makes for an environment in which women are sure to amp up their skills while having fun, too.
Oakley Progression Sessions
Oakley Progression Sessions are for intermediate skiers looking to improve their skill in the parks. With locations at Loon Mountain, The Canyons, Winter Park, and Northstar-at-Tahoe, the event is a two day on-snow camp that includes personalized coaching with video analysis from Oakley’s top professional coaches, stretching/yoga sessions, complimentary lunch and après-ski meals, and a goodie bag. The camp price includes lift tickets and discounted lodging, as well. Women also enjoy a Saturday night après-ski party and a Sunday awards ceremony that concludes a great weekend.
Rippin Chix' Ski Adventures
Alison Gannett’s “Rippin’ Chix” two-day ski camps in Virginia, Canada, and Colorado are for expert skiers looking to push themselves on difficult terrain. Alison’s unique style of teaching focuses on steeps, moguls, chutes, and glades, as well as freestyle tricks. This camp is for the serious skier: Alison comments that the camp does not come with “yoga, red wine, or filet mignon” but instead, participants should look forward to two intense days of skiing complemented by top-notch coaching, video analysis, and prizes during the “Saturday après sustainability quiz.” So, the camp is all about skiing, and women are sure to come away with a whole new bag of tricks to try out on the slopes.
Ski Divas Backcountry Tours
Jessica Baker’s ski tours may be called “Ski Divas,” but her camps aren’t for just any snow bunny. Women in Jessica’s camps explore exhilarating backcountry terrain, and there are also heli-skiing and ski-mountaineering camps as well. Jessica is an award-winning free style skier and also an active PSIA Level III instructor. She is very familiar with the areas in which she runs her camps and dedicated to encouraging women to improve their technique in a safe and rewarding environment.
Ski With Kim - Women's Ski Adventures
Kim Rechheilm offers a whole array of skiing adventures for women. Her clinics run at Vail, Aspen, Steamboat, and Alta, and she offers guided ski tours South America, as well. Kim also leads Steep Skiing Camps for women looking to perfect their skills on tough terrain.
Women's Winter Tour - Winter, Women, and Chocolate
The Women’s Winter Tour has been acclaimed as the "largest and funnest women’s event in the Midwest." Hosted at Crystal Mountain, the day centers around the “Original Women’s Winter Tour,” which runs Sunday from 10am-2pm and is a non-competitive snowshoe and cross country ski party. If you sign up for the tour, you get a $10 discount on lift tickets on Saturday and Sunday, as well. Women can choose from a 3km, 5km, or 8km course, and private or group lessons are also available on-site. In addition to great food vendors, women have the opportunity to snowshoe through Michigan Legacy Art Park as well.
