Farm-to-Table Dining in Aspen, Colorado
An abundance of farm land in Colorado makes all-natural meat, produce and grains readily available for farm-to-table restaurants at ski resorts.

Montagna, an upscale restaurant in The Little Nell, the only ski-in/ski-out hotel in Aspen, has been deemed the best fine dining in all of Aspen. It’s easy to see why. Although the cuisine is European-style, a glance at Montagna’s menu will reveal a panorama of ingredients straight from Colorado farms. With a variety of options for both vegetarians and carnivores, a bottle of wine from Montagna’s 20,000-bottle cellar complements each dish. Executive Chef Robert McCormick, a Michelin-star winning cuisinier, emphasizes the use of organic vegetables, artisan cheeses, sustainable fish and local meat in every meal.
