The Ski Card
Look for the Ski Card from the folks at Premium Member Cards Inc. Ski Card purchasers receive substantial lift ticket discount every time they ski or ride at over 40 participating resorts. Expo attendees can purchase the card for only $24, a savings of $15. The Ski Card is mirrored after their Links Card program which has dominated the northeast golf market for over 20 years. Ski Card members will also receive lodging, equipment, and dining discounts throughout the season. As an added bonus for the golfers in attendance, The Northeast Links Card (155 participating courses) is available for only $64, also a $15 savings off the regular rate. which is a $15 discount.

Gibbon Slacklines
The Gibbon Slacklines booth will have several members of their Pro Team on hand for performances throughout the weekend along with an interactive area so attendees can try slacklining themselves. It's a hot new sport, an excellent training apparatus for skiing and riding, and just plain fun. Think of slacklining as tightrope walking, testing one's balance, without a scary distance between the line and terra firma.

Snowriders
A team of 20-somethings, the Goyette brothers raised in Dedham, are bringing their ski/ride trip packages to Expo along with their packaging of fun on and off the slopes, and even in Boston itself. They are partnering with Expo retailer East Coast Alpine to book trips both in the stores and online, including day, weekend and long-stay destinations. Trips include slope action, parties, music and more, as well as kick-off seasonal events in Boston. This year-old web-based company out of Dedham is on a growth curve report the brothers, graduates of UMass Boston and BU, says eldest brother Nick.
