Liberty 2011/2012 Skis

A Selection of Liberty 2011/2012 Skis

By , About.com Guide

Here's what Liberty Skis has to say about the 2011-12 line of Liberty Skis:

"New for Liberty in 2012 is the addition of our “Stealth Rocker” Technology that can be found on several models including the award winning Helix and Double Helix. While these skis already were excellent, the rocker makes the ski even easier, and adds a bit of float in powder, crud and difficult snow conditions without taking anything away from hard snow performance."

"We’ve also launched a women’s specific line, The Envy series, with two skis, the Envy all-mountain and the Envy powder. These skis have been very well received and are already winning awards, such as an Editor’s Pick for the Envy TK from Freeskier Magazine. Featuring and ultra-light bamboo/poplar wood core, the Envy models are designed for aggressive women skiers, who will appreciate the combination of light weight and high performance."

"We’ve also introduced a monster of a ski that only pure powderhounds will appreciate. The Mutant is huge, with a footprint of. 160-149-145. Only available in a length of 192 cm, it’s for the deepest of days, at big-mountains like Jackson, Snowbird or Squaw. While this ski seems huge, it’s actually quite nimble for its size, and also was the recipient of a Freeskier Magazine Editor’s Pick award."

"Finally, our Xantigen is also new for 2012, and is a progressive park ski with rocker. It’s a great ski for the park, and its rockered design is at the cutting edge of park ski technology."

"We’re pretty happy with this year’s lineup and feel like the skis are finally getting the recognition that they deserve. To date, we’ve gotten 11 Editor’s Picks or similar awards for these skis, which reflects the fact that we make a great product that performs better than most of the skis you’ll see in the lift line."

"We’ve always loved skiing on our stuff, but you don’t have to take our word for it that these skis are good. Not all the Buyer’s Guides have hit the stands yet, so we think we’ll chalk up a few more awards, and we’re pretty sure that few – if any – other brands are experiencing this kind of success for 2012."
