Hiking and Mountain Biking
May through September, Park City has over 400 miles of public trails available to the public for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Visitors can experience mountain excursions ranging from mellow, scenic rides and hikes on gentle terrain to adrenaline-raising thrills and long distance rides and hikes on more challenging terrain.
June through September, another way to enjoy Park City's scenic mountain setting is on horseback. Meander through stands of aspens and pines or gallop a horse through an open field. Several local stables offer horseback guided tours for equestrians of all abilities, while daily to seasonal horse rentals are available for the more experienced riders.
May through September, Park City's golf courses are among the best in the west and certainly some of the most scenic. A total of 13 golf courses - seven public courses and six private - are located within a 20-mile radius of the town. When players tee up at this altitude, they'll notice the ball soars further than ever before!
