In addition to Mammoth, there are a variety of lower peaks to ski including Lincoln Mountain, Gold Hill, and Hemlock Ridge. Mammoth's ski season (November - April) is one of the longest in the United States. For cross country skiers, Tamarack Ski Center has miles of groomed cross country trails.
