You can't beat the views and the scenery on a day trip over Guardsman Pass road out of Park City and up into the mountains of the Wasatch Mountain State Park. A "maintained gravel" surface for most of the way but still good for the family car. However, Guardsman Pass is closed during the late fall and winter so mark it on your list of things to do when you visit Park City in summer.
