Definition: Skiboards are short skis - typically 130cm or less. Some claim skiboards are categorically under 100cm although that is not an industry accepted restriction.

Skiboards are typically wide - 90+cm underfoot with bindings center mounted on the length. Some are available with releasable bindings and others with non-releasable bindings, usually they are not fitted with brakes but require runaway straps.

Skiboards can be shaped but most are symmetrical in profile with the tip and tail the same width but thinner under the bindings if shaped.
