Definition: Ski wax is product that is hard and sealing and comes in two forms - glide and grip.
Glide is applied to a ski base to improve glide efficiency and protect it from wear. Grip is also applied to the base and helps grip the snow and get traction.
Both types of ski wax are applied on different areas of a ski’s base.
