Season Pass

By Mike Doyle, About.com

Definition: A season pass provides discounted ski resort lift tickets throughout ski season.

An unlimited season pass allows you to ski every day and through the holiday seasons. A non-holiday pass allows you to ski through the entire week, but you must pay normal holiday ticket rates during the holiday weeks. With a midweek pass you can ski on week days, but you must pay weekend ticket rates on Saturday and Sunday.

Some ski resorts also provide discounted passes for senior skiers, or discounted passes for young skiers.

Examples:
Tim purchased an unlimited season pass for Killington Ski Resort.
