Janica Kostelic of Croatia won the Giant Slalom event, with Austrians Kathrin Zettel second and Marlies Schild third. For the U.S. Ski Team, Julia Mancuso (Olympic Valley, CA) finished fourteenth and Kristina Koznick (Eagan, MN) was sixteenth. Kristen Clark (Raymond, ME) did not finish the first run while Caroline Lalive (Steamboat Springs, CO), Libby Ludlow (Bellevue, WA), Lauren Ross (Stowe, VT), Resi Stiegler (Jackson Hole, WY), Jessica Kelley (Starksboro, VT), Kristen Mielke (Dillon, CO), and Lindsey Kildow (Vail, CO) did not qualify for the second run.

Women's Slalom Results
In the Slalom overall, World Cup champion Anja Paerson of Sweden won her second straight slalom victory. Her time was .49 seconds ahead of Janica Kostelic of Croatia. Marlies Schild, Austria, was third.
For the U.S., Julia Mancuso (Olympic Valley, CA) had the fastest second run and finished ninth. Five U.S. women were in the top 20. Kristina Koznick (Eagan, MN), was tenth, with Resi Stiegler (Jackson Hole, WY) thirteenth and Lindsey Kildow (Vail, CO) fourteenth. Kaylin Richardson (Edina, MN) was seventeenth while Lauren Ross (Stowe, VT) and Jenny Lathrop (North Conway, N.H) did not qualify for the second run.
