Olympic skiing events include alpine skiing (downhill, slalom, giant slalom, super G, and super combined), freestyle skiing, cross country skiing, and nordic combined, which incorporates ski jumping and cross country skiing.
Winter Olympics - Vancouver 2010
Olympic Skiing Venues
The men's and women's Alpine ski races - Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom, Slalom, and Super Combined - will take place at Whistler Blackcomb Resort, specifically on Whistler Mountain, about 70 miles from Vancouver.
For all the Nordic events - cross country skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, and Nordic combined - the Whistler Olympic Park will be the host venue.
Freestyle skiing competition will be held at Cypress Mountain.
