Career Highlights:


Alberto Tomba won both the giant slalom and the slalom in his first Olympic games at Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 1988. He finished first again in the giant slalom and second in the slalom at the next Olympics in Albertville, France. In 1994, at Lillehammer, Norway, Tomba earned another silver medal in the slalom and became the first Alpine skier to win medals in three different Olympics and the first male Alpine skier to earn five career Olympic medals.
