World Championship Skiing:
At the 2013 FIS World Ski Championships in Schladming, Austria Maria Hoefl-Riesch finished 1st in the Super Combined to take the Gold medal, 3rd in the Downhill for the Bronze medal, 9th in the Giant Slalom, DNF1 in the super G and DNF2 in the Slalom event. In the 2011 World Championships at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, she was 3rd in the Downhill and the super G to take 2 Bronze medals, 4th in the Slalom, 11th in the Super Combined and was DNF2 in the giant Slalom event.
In the 2009 World Championships at Val d'Isere, France, Hoefl-Riesch won the Slalom for the Gold medal, was 8th in Super G, 4th in Super Combined, 10th in Downhill and 28th in Giant Slalom. At Are, Sweden in 2007 she was 10th in Super G, 7th in the Super Combined, 9th in Downhill and 23 in Giant Slalom and at St. Moritz in 2003 Marie finished 5th in the Combined and 17th in Downhill and DNF in Slalom, GS and Super G.
Olympic Skiing:
At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Maria Hoefl-Riesch won the Slalom and the Super Combined events for 2 Gold medals, was 8th in the super G and Downhill and finished 10th in the Giant Slalom.
