Tanja Poutiainen Career Highlights:

In the 2004-05 season Tanja was the World Cup Slalom and Giant Slalom champion. She is the reigning Giant Slalom champ for 08-09.

Tanja Poutiainen World Championship Skiing :

In the 2009 World Championships at Val d'Isere, France, Tanja Poutiainen was 3rd in Giant Slalom and 3rd in Slalom.

In 2007 at Are, Sweden she was 14th in Slalom and 14th in Giant Slalom. In 2005 she was 2nd in Slalom and 2nd in Giant Slalom.

At St. Moritz in 2003 Tanja was 10th in Slalom and 23rd in Giant Slalom. In 2001 at St. Anton she was 13th in Giant Slalom and DNF in Slalom.

At Vail/Beaver Creek, USA in 1999 Tanja finished 24th in Slalom and 14th in Giant Slalom. In 1997 she was 17th in Slalom and DNF in Giant Slalom.

Tanja Poutiainen Olympic Skiing:

In the 2006 Olympics Tanja finished 2nd in Giant Slalom and 6th in Slalom. At the Salt Lake City Games in 2002, she was 11th in the Giant Slalom and DNF in Slalom.
In 1998 at Nagano Tanja finished 26th in Giant Slalom and 18th in Slalom.
