At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Ted Ligety was 5th in the Super Combined, 19th in the Super G, 9th in the Giant Slalom, and DNF in the Slalom.

In the 2006 Olympics, Ligety was the Alpine Combined Champion, he was DSQ1 in the Slalom and DNF in the Giant Slalom.

At the 2013 FIS World Ski Championships in Schladming, Austria Ted Ligety won Gold in the Giant Slalom, Super Combined and super G and he was DNF in Slalom.

At Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2011 Ted Ligety won the Giant Slalom Gold, finished 19th in Slalom and DNF2 in Super Combined and DNF1 in Super G. In the 2009 World Championships at Val d'Isere, France, Ted took the Bronze medal in the Giant Slalom, DNF in the Slalom and Super G, and DSQ in the Super Combined.

At Are, Sweden in 2007 Ted was fourth in Giant Slalom, 31st in super G, DNF in the Slalom and in Super Combined. In 2005, Ted finished 12th in Combined and DNF in Slalom.
