Lindsey Vonn Career Highlights:

In the 2009 Alpine World Championships in Val d'Isere, France, Vonn won the Ladies Downhill and the Super G. During the season she became winningest female ski racer in American history.

Lindsey was the Overall and Downhill FIS World Cup champion for 2008. She won a silver medal in downhill and super G in the 2007 Worlds.

She started the 2004-05 season with a gold medal in the downhill at Lake Louise, Canada. That season, she finished fifth in the downhill rankings, third in super-G, and sixth in the overall ranking.

Lindsey Vonn Olympic Skiing:

In the 2006 Olympics, Vonn was 7th in SG, 8th in DH.

At the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, she recorded the best Alpine finish of any American woman - sixth place in the combined.
