The Swiss Ski Club of New York(SSC), www.swissskiclub.com, is an internationally diverse social group with a Swiss tradition, based in New York City. Primarily single active adults from the Tri-State area, the group focuses on skiing and snowboarding near the club's lodge in central Vermont and on other social activities. Membership not required for participation in club events, meet club members and friends at one of the regular meetings in Manhattan. Founded by Swiss in 1939, the SSC now has hundreds of members and friends locally and from all over the world.

Swiss Ski Club of New York Sports Activities:
SSC members and friends ski and ride at all levels. Two of the VT weekends feature intraclub races. Sports activities typically include downhill, boarding, X-country skiing, snowshoeing, bicycling, skating, whitewater rafting, bluewater canoeing, softball, tennis, hiking, golf, bowling, pool, foosball and more. The club also organizes an annual ski trip to Switzerland or the North American west.
Swiss Ski Club of New York Social Activities:
At the club's VT lodge, the group cooks its own meals and makes its own fun. Weekends include organized après-ski, and a great party usually evolves after dinner. In wintertime, the SSC has social meetings in Manhattan. Some meetings include special programs such as winetasting, holiday party, etc., Throughout the year, the club also hosts other events in the NYC metro area and in Vermont, including an annual SSC Dinner Dance.
