Lake Placid Ski Club Description:


The Lake Placid Ski Club is one of the oldest Ski Clubs in America. Located in Lake Placid, NY the club provides programs for children to learn to ski in Alpine, Cross Country, Nordic Combined, Ski Jumping and Snow Boarding. Many Olympians have benefited from the programs, such as Casey Colby for Ski Jumping, Bill Demong for Nordic Combined, Tim Burke and Lowell Bailey for Biathlon.

Lake Placid Ski Club Sports Activities:


Lake Placid Ski Club is not a social club. The Club's activities is to teach children a sport that they can do all their lives and then pass it on to their children. There is an end of the season Awards Ceremony and Reception and the Club sponsors a Car Show on Labor Day Weekend.
