Tecnica Ski Boots
The Attiva Dragon 100 and Attiva Dragon 90 also at 98 mm have more adjustments but are not better than the Pro model just more padded. The ladies have medium width options in the Phoenix models. The Attiva Phoenix 100, the Phoenix 90, the Phoenix 80 and the Phoenix 70 are 100 mm in width and will probably be big sellers. Then the Attiva M 14 (80), Attiva M 10 (70), Attiva M 8 (70) and Attiva M 6 (60) are the widest female options from Tecnica all at 103 mm.
The Men's Series known as Diablo is a good option for the aggressive level skier that wants quick responsiveness with Tecnica comfort. Diablo Race Pro 130 for the top-end skier, Diablo Race Pro 110 all mountain performance and Diablo (100) all at 98 mm width function well. Something about Tecnica ski boots that if they fit you; they fit really well.
The Dragon series based off medium Tecnica lasts is available in Dragon 120, Dragon 110, Dragon 100 and the Dragon 90 all have the 100 mm width. These boots will ski well but not have the same precision that the Diablo will offer though will certainly be warmer. The Phoenix series has wider and HVL or High Volume options. Phoenix 100, Phoenix 90, Phoenix 80 and Phoenix 70 are all at 102 width and available in 106 mm HVL width.
Tecnica Mega Series
The Mega series, all at 105 mm width, is the Tecnica wide option and they are for the skier that needs more volume for their calves and forefoot. These boots will be easy on and off and come in flex options of Mega 14 (80), Mega 10 and Mega 8 (70) and the Mega 6 (60) and possibly available up to size 16.
The problem with wide boots being too soft is the person that needs wide boots often needs more support than these boots can offer. The Mega series is wider and softer so I find these are for kids or beginners that cannot accept pressure on their feet. This is a continuous problem that they would make such a big size in a low-end soft offering.
Tecnica Agent Series
The Agent series is Tecnica's Freeride option with sponsored riders promoting them and a marketing campaign. These are good skiing boots and they have expanded this line this year. The Agent 130 and Attiva Agent 90 are both 98 mm. The Agent 110 is 100 mm and a great option. The Agent 90 and Agent 80 are 102 mm wide for more comfort. The Agent M 4 (70) is available in an even wider 105 mm fit and possibly up to size 16. The Agent AT with its Vibram sole and walk mode open up a world of backcountry possibilities.
Tecnica Junior Ski Boots
Tecnica has great junior models available for the young racer or all mountain skiers with the Diablo Race Pro 90, Diablo Race 70 and their Diablo Race 60 all at 98 mm. The young rider is able to look at the Agent 65 for park/pipe performance.
