Lange World Cup Ski Boots
The World Cup R2006 (160 depending on plastic used) is a race ski boot at 92mm and is typically custom ordered. These are strictly performance first then grind to fit. The new line is most impressive in the more user friendly models like the RS 130, RS 120SC and the RS 110 with the 130 and the 110 available in a 97mm width and the more comfortable 100mm width. The RS series is for the traditional on hill skier, ex-racer and the RX series is geared for the Freeride back country skier.
Lange RX Ski Boots
The RX PRO 130 is 97 mm and the RX 130, RX 120 and RX 100 are available in the 100mm forefoot width., all have a grip sole that will go anywhere a skier would go. These are crossover boots and ski and fit very well. The Blaster series took off last year and is a great option for the backcountry or on-hill skier. They are more generous in the forefoot at 102mm and are available in Super Blaster (120), Blaster Pro (100), Blaster 90, and Blaster 80.
These boots sold out last year for good reason. The walk mode is popular and easier but if someone does not like that feature the RS or RX series in the 100mm width should be excellent choices because of the performance fit in the heel and ankle pocket for the local racer or top pro. They will ski great but fitting is important.
Lange Concept Series Ski Boots
The Concept series offers a softer more generous fit with Lange technology. These boots have sold for years now and are proven to ski fine for the skier that is comfort oriented. The Concept 80 or Concept 70 though soft and the Concept 95 all ski fine. The type of plastic used makes a big difference in how these boots ski better than most.
Lange Women's Ski Boots
Advanced women have skied Lange men's boots for years and The RS series is still a great option for the female racer. There are definitely excellent female specific options and most women will be better served if they get a boot they can flex and is designed for their anatomy.
To this end Lange has The Exclusive series, which accommodates advanced female skiers in 97mm width with a good shape and in the Exclusive RX PRO 100 the narrower shell will be desired for performance. For more comfort look at the Exclusive RX 100, Exclusive RX 90 and the Exclusive RX 80, all at 100mm width. These boots also have the true grip replaceable sole and should have great heel hold and ankle support.
Lange offers more comfort in the Delight series for women with a 102mm forefoot wider boot and the walk mode feature. The Delight Super 100 is the stiffest available in this series followed by Delight Pro 90, Delight 80 and Delight 70. For the average female skier they will fit loose, and comfortably and ski fine. They have warm liners and replaceable true grip soles also. Lange has the Venus series for the widest feet and most comfort. The Venus 70 or Venus 60 are available in 103mm width and very soft for ladies.
Lange Junior Ski Boots
The junior program is deep at Lange and you will see many of these boots on the top young adults in the world. Advanced women skiers can also look at the RS 110 SC junior, SC stands for short cuff, a good feature for women or young adults. They also offer junior Race 90 Team and Race 70 Team in 98mm The Team 9 (65), Team 8 (60), and Team 7 (50) are junior width 100mm depending on size.
