Top of the line product is what the Lange (buy direct) ski boot company offers. In all models and throughout the entire line they have dedicated performance first. Lange has recently cut models and concentrated on what they have always done best, make the best skiing boots in the world.

Lange World Cup

Lange continues with their new shell shape, which is more upright in the World Cup 160 race ski boot at 92mm and is typically custom ordered. These are strictly performance first then grind to fit; they have opened the toe box dramatically in the last few years making them nicer out of the box.

Lange Super Comp

They follow this with a Super Comp (140) available in the more comfortable 97mm width. These boots are excellent choices because of the performance fit in the heel and ankle pocket for the local racer or top pro. They will ski great but fitting is important. The Comp Pro (120) comes in 97mm and the Comp (110) will be a tremendous hit at 97mm and the comfy toe box. The type of plastic used makes a big difference to how these boots ski better than most.

Lange Fluid

Their Fluid line is wider but keeps a well-fitted heel to ankle shell shape and does not rely on the liner as much. At 100 mm width these are very comfortable for all day all mountain skiing, depending on what stiffness you can flex. Choose between the Fluid 12 (120), Fluid 10 (100) and Fluid 9 (90). Fluid 12 and 10 are available up to a size 32 = 15 at least, so they are one of the best big boots for the big footed.

Lange Competite

The top women will find great offerings from Lange in their Competite (120) true 'plug' shape but a lower upper cuff, with 98 mm comfort in the forefoot this is an excellent boot. The Exclusive line accommodates advanced female skiers in 99 mm width with a good shape in flexes of Exclusive 10 (100), Exclusive 9 (80) and Exclusive 8 (70).

Lange Banshee

The Banshee is back in a Super Banshee (130), Banshee Pro (110) and Banshee (100) with 98 mm and a very functional Vibram sole. This has been a top-performing product with the Super Banshee available for more opportunities to accommodate the advanced crowd of freeskiers. The Banshee W Pro (110) is their female option; it comes with the softer boot board and the grip hiking sole in 98mm and is an incredible ski boot. Now add the Banshee W (90) also at 98 mm width and options abound.

The men's high volume ski boots are the Concept with a 103 mm forefoot but still a good ankle pocket. I have skied Fluid and Concept as well as the Comp series and the Concepts skied fine for what they are geared for. Concept 9 (95), Concept 8 (85) and Concept 7 (75) work for the men while Venus 9 (85), Venus 8 (75) and Venus 7 (65) cover the female category with 103mm forefoot width.

Lange Backcountry Ski Boots

Lange answers the backcountry call with their new Super Blaster 120, Blaster Pro 110 and Blaster 8 (100) all at 102 mm width and an effective walk mode and true grip sole.

Lange Junior Ski Boots

The junior program is deep here at Lange and you will see many of these boots on the top young adults in the world. World Cup Team 110 is 97mm with the original R11 shape and excellent ankle pocket fit of their top boots. Then the Super Comp Team (100), Comp Team (90) also at 98mm is very popular. They open the forefoot to 99mm in the Team 9 (70), Team 8 (60), and Team 7 (50) and they have a great little T-Kid (40).
