Top of the line products is what Lange offers. In all 33 ski boot models and throughout the entire line Lange has dedicated performance first. The number following the Lange model name refers to the flex resistance when bending the ankle, on average 150-120 is stiff, 110-90 is average and 80-50 is soft.

Racing Ski Boots

Lange starts with a new shell shape, which is more upright in the World Cup 160 race ski boot at 92mm. These are strictly performance first then grind to fit; they have opened the toe box dramatically in the last few years making them nicer out of the box. They follow this with a Super Comp (140) available in the crushing 92 mm or the more comfortable 97mm width. All of these boots are excellent choices because of the performance fit in the heel and ankle pocket. They will ski great but fitting is important. Their Comp Pro (130) comes in 97mm and the Comp (120) will be a tremendous hit at 98mm and the comfy toe box. The type of plastic used makes a big difference to how these boots ski better than most.

Fluid Series

Their Fluid line (buy direct) is wider but keeps a well-fitted heel to ankle shell shape and does not rely on the liner as much. At 100 mm width these are very comfortable for all day all mountain, depending on what stiffness you can flex. Choose between the Fluid 120, Fluid 100, Fluid 90, Fluid 80 and Fluid 80 Freeride.

Competite and Exclusive Series

The top women will find great offerings from Lange in their Competite (110) with a top plastic and 98 mm comfort in the forefoot this is an excellent ski boot. The Exclusive (buy direct) line accommodates advanced female skiers in 99 mm width with a good shape in flexes of Exclusive 100 and Exclusive 90, then Exclusive 80, Exclusive 80 Freeride, Exclusive 70 and Exclusive 60 accommodate the softer needs.

The Inferno and Banshee Series

The Banshee is back in a Banshee Pro (140/130) with 98 mm and a cool Vibram sole. This will be a top-performing product along with the Banshee (130/120) for more opportunities to accommodate the advanced crowd of freeskiers. The Banshee's (110) is their female option; it comes with the softer boot board and the grip hiking sole in 98mm so an incredible ski boot. The Inferno (120) is another Freeride boot with the grip sole and this flex opens it up to more skiers also at 98mm.

Concept and Venus Series

The men's high volume ski boots are the Concept with a 103 mm forefoot but still a good ankle pocket. I have skied Fluid and Concept as well as the Comp series and the Concepts skied fine for what they are geared for. Concept 95, Concept 85, Concept 75 work for the men while Venus 95, Venus 85, and Venus 75 (buy direct) cover the female category with 103mm forefoot width.

Junior Ski Boots

The Junior program is deep at Lange and you will see many of these ski boots on the top young adults in the world. World Cup Team 110 is 98mm with all the ankle pocket fit of their top boots. Then the Comp Team (90) also at 98mm is very popular. They open the forefoot to 99mm in the WC 70 Team, Team Pro (60), Comp 60 Team and Comp 50 Team. Then they have a great little T-Kid (40).
