With 6 different series of boots some of which are dedicated to women and a total of 27 models, Fischer has made headway in the ski boot world. The company makes all of its boots with their Soma-Tec stance - basically working with the anatomical opinion of people being duck-footed and possibly helping us ski more comfortably. The number following the Fischer model name refers to the flex resistance when bending the ankle, on average 150-120 is stiff, 110-90 is average and 80-50 is soft.
RC4 Worldcup Pro Series
They started with the RC4 Worldcup Pro 95mm (150/130) a few years ago and now have some more offerings in this category. These are very narrow and stiff so another more realistic offering is the RC4 Worldcup Pro 98mm (130/110). Then the RC 4 Worldcup 99mm (130) is the boot a top skier could use and get more warmth and comfort as the RC4 Competition 99mm (110) is more open to many advanced skiers.
The Progressor Series
The Progressor series with the Progressor 120 and Progressor 100 at 100mm are good options for many skiers with the X-Onetwenty (120) 98mm and the X-One Hundred (100) at 100mm slightly redundant but offering different options in good skiing boots.
Vision Series
For the female skier they may have a good option in the Vision 100 (100) with 100mm width too. The Vision 90 and Vision 80 come in a 102mm width and a few color options. Then the ladies have the Vision 65 and Vision 55, which come in a 103.5mm width.
MX Series
Their MX series gets wider and softer with the MX 80, MX 70 and MX 60,
Junior Ski Boots
Fischer has 3 junior models with the RC4 Worldcup Pro 100 in a 98mm width and the RC4 Worldcup 90 and RC4 Race 70 in 98.5mm. They also have four more junior softer models available.
