For the 2008-09 ski season Atomic offers many options - five series and over 50 models - with many color choices. The number following the Atomic model name refers to the flex resistance when bending the ankle, on average 150-120 is stiff, 110-90 is average and 80-50 is soft.
Atomic Hawx
Atomic says, by allowing the boot to flex in the middle of the foot it increases sensitivity and performance. The H 120 Elite fit well at 100mm width and is available in H 110 and H 110 Women's also. Then they have the H 100 and H 90 men's and women's and compliment the softer flex with the H 80 men's and women's.
Atomic M-Tech
The Atomic M-Tech series (buy direct) is well known and at 102mm it is open enough for many feet. The M 100 is their top boot in this series, and then the M 90, M 80 and M 70 come in men's and women's models and colors.
Atomic Nuke
New this year is the Freeskiing models called the Nuke 120, Nuke 100, Nuke 80 and a good female offering called the M Jay 110. This may be one of the best female options this year depending on how the finished product comes out. This should be a 98 mm width with a nice heel and ankle pocket and stiff enough too.
Atomic High Rolla
Atomic has the new High Rolla series (buy direct) with the High Rolla 110, the Rolla 90, Rolla 70 and the She Devil 90. These boots felt and skied great. Depending on the width of your feet these will be a good option for the advanced skier or lighter skier also.
Atomic B-Tech
Atomic then offers their B-Tech models ((buy direct)) at 104mm width. The B-Tech 110 is a good skiing, wide fitting boot. The B 90 and B 90W will be good wide boots and the B 80 and B 80W are big and wide but still soft flexing down to a B 50 and B 50W for the intermediate or beginner.
