The Series known as Inferno is the option for the aggressive level skier that wants quick responsiveness with as much Tecnica comfort as possible. They make their top race boots available in the Inferno R 150 and Inferno R 130 with the lace liner. These are very narrow at 95 mm width and stiff too. The Inferno 130 wide is more realistic at 98mm wide but still very stiff. The Inferno 110, Inferno 90, Inferno Blaze (110) and Inferno Heat (100) are also 98 mm wide. The Blaze and Heat models have many freeride functions.
The Bodacious model is the freeride Bodacious 120 in a 98 mm width. This is a four buckle traditional boot with extra options. The Cochise line is spectacular. These three buckle boots with the walk Mode and back country options are excellent. My favorite the amazing Cochise Pro Light (120) is extremely light and like the Cochise 130 and the Cochise 120 available in 98 mm width. Cochise models continue with the Cochise 110, Cochise 100 and the Cochise 90 all available in the 100 mm width.
The Demon series, continues being based off medium Tecnica lasts, and is available in Demon 130, Demon 120, Demon 100 and the Demon 90 all have 100 mm forefoot width. These boots will ski well but not have the same precision that the Inferno will offer, though will certainly be warmer. The Demon series has been well received by big wide feet. The Phoenix series has wider and HVL or High Volume options. Phoenix Max 12 Air shell, Phoenix Max 8 (80) are 102mm in width. The Phoenix 120 HVL is the model available in a 104 mm wide fit.
The Mega series all at 104 mm width is the Tecnica wide option and they are for the skier that needs more volume for their calves and forefoot. These boots will be easy on and off and come in flex options of Mega 12 (80), Mega 10 (70) and the Mega 8 (60), possibly available up to size 16.
Tecnica Women's Ski Boots
The women's specific Inferno Crush (100) and the Inferno Fling (90) are the top female options from Tecnica and are 98 mm wide. Then the Demon 100 W and the Demon 90 W come in at 100 mm and are also good options. They offer the Cochise women's series as a three buckle boot with the walk mode included. The Cochise 100 W and the Cochise 90 W are both great back country options in 100 mm width.
The wider Phoenix 100 W Max Air Shell and the Phoenix 80 are both 102mm wide. The Air Shell technology is new again, but really it is old. It is a bag inside the liner that can be pumped up before and during the ski day for better foot retention.
Ladies have wider and looser fitting options in the Esprit 12 W (80), Esprit 10 W (70), and Esprit 8 W (60) all at 104mm width. Loose and comfortable bring warmth but less performance.
Tecnica Junior Ski Boots
Tecnica has great junior models available for the young racer or all mountain skiers with the Inferno 110, Inferno 90 in the 98 mm width and the Inferno Race Pro 70 and the Inferno Race Pro 60 in the 100 mm width. The stiffer the boot here the tighter it will fit.
The young freeride option is the Bodacious 65 Junior, which has many of the freeride features for the kids. They also offer the mini JT3, JT2 and the JT1 each with as many buckles as the name says.
