For the 2011-12 season Head continues their top race Raptor series and variations of the Edge and Dream boots all offering junior options.

Raptor Series

The Raptor B2 RD is a true race boot at 160 flex and 95mm width in the forefoot The Raptor B3 RD is also 95 mm tight with a 140 flex. The Raptor 130 RS, Raptor 115 RS, Raptor Project RS (115) and the Raptor 90 all come with the 98 mm width and great performance. The Raptor Project RS comes with grip soles and a rubber boot board for the freeskier.

The best ladies options other than the Raptor series are the Dream 12.5 One (100), Dream 10.5 One (90), Dream 9.5 One (80) and the Dream 8.5 One (70). These are 102mm width but made of better plastic.

All Mountain

The men's all mountain options are the Vector 120, Vector Ltd. (110), Vector 110 and the Vector 100 all at 103 mm width.

The AdaptEdge series is based on altering the forefoot width through a tightening mechanism built in to the shell. Basically all the AdaptEdge boots are 104mm wide and may be altered to 102 mm width so they say.

The AdaptEdge 110, AdaptEdge 100, AdaptEdge 90 and the ladies AdaptEdge 100 One and AdaptEdge 90 One come with this feature.

The NextEdge 80, NextEdge 70, NextEdge 80 One and NextEdge 70 One (50) and the Edge Project (80) all come in a wide 104mm last.

They offer very wide boots with the i-Type 12.5 (80), i-Type 10.5 (70), i-Type 8.5 (60), i-Type 12.5 One (70), i-Type 10.5 One (60) and the i-Type 8.5 One (50) all in the generous 106mm forefoot width. These boots are three buckles with the easy walk mode and soft soles.

The Junior racer will be looking at the Raptor series with the Raptor 90, Raptor 70, Raptor 50 and Raptor Project (60) all available depending on age and size. The Edge series is for recreational kids with the edge J3, Edge J2 and the mini Edge J1 available in 100 mm width.
