Sugar Mountain Resort is located in the Village of Sugar Mountain, North Carolina, right off of Hwy 184. Sugar Mountain is the largest ski area in North Carolina with 20 ski trails, served by 8 lifts on North Carolina's highest vertical drop. One of the few eastern ski areas south of New England with over a 1,000 vertical and boasting 100% snowmaking Sugar Mountain is always a well groomed place to ski.

Sugar Mountain Resort Reservations:


Lift tickets, season passes, children's lesson programs, and weekly passes can be purchsed through the Administration office or by calling 828-898-4521. Sugar Mountain Resort participates in the North Carolina Gold Card Season pass program good at seven NC ski areas with no blackout days.
