Sugar Mountain is the largest ski area in North Carolina with 20 ski trails, served by 7 lifts on North Carolina's highest vertical drop. One of the few eastern ski areas south of New England with over a 1,000 vertical and boasting 100% snowmaking Sugar Mountain is always a well groomed place to ski.

Lift Tickets, children and adult lesson programs must be purchased on-site. Season Passes & other special programs can be purchased through the Administration office or by calling 828-898-4521. Sugar Mountain Resort participates in the North Carolina Gold Card Season pass program good at six NC ski areas with no blackout days.
