Appalachian Ski Mountain, with 9 ski trails, served by 5 lifts and has also boasts a beautiful ice skating rink. State-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming equipment keeps great snow for both day and night skiing.

Cataloochee Ski Area, located on Moody Top Mountain in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. With 10 ski trails, served by 5 lifts offers a secluded ski school area for easy and fun learning for children and a large tube park with conveyor lift.

Sapphire Valley Ski Area, located in Sapphire, North Carolina. Sapphire Valley Ski Area is a part of the 5,700 acre four-season resort offering 2 trails served by a new quad lift and also boasts a multi-lane tube hill. Sapphire Valley participates in the North Carolina Gold Card Season pass program good at seven NC ski areas with no blackout days.

Ski Beech Resort, located in Beech Mountain, North Carolina, is the highest ski resort in Eastern North America, at 5506 ft. above sea level. With 15 trails and 10 lifts Ski Beech has 100% snowmaking to supplement over 80" average annual snowfall. There is a 7,000 sq ft skating rink and on site shopping and dining.
