Well, Mammut has been around for 150 years and still making ropes, in fact in 1964 the "Mammut Dynamic" became the first single rope to be certified by the UIAA - the international federation representing mountaineering and climbing.
Of course, the company has evolved and expanded it's product lines to include climbing gear, footwear, and alpine apparel and equipment for climbing, hiking, skiing and riding but the Mammut commitment to quality and workmanship has never changed. A recognized leader in mountaineering safety and avalanche rescue equipment Mammut's development team is always working on new and innovative projects to increase safety on the snow.
Mammut's logo was chosen to represent power and strength and their outdoor winter apparel is made with the input of top athletes that enable the company to continuously bring new strength and energy to the development of mountain sports clothing - offering products that meet the very highest standards of quality, innovation and functionality.
The 2012-2013 Mammut collection of ski jackets and pants offers an expanded line of products made for the rugged outdoors, yet cut for fashion and function with prices for every budget.
