Hannah Kearney, Olympic champion from Norwich, VT, stood atop the Deer Valley Resort podium after winning the Visa Freestyle International moguls event. What is historic about Kearney's second mogul win of the season is that she was flanked on the podium by two more American women - Heather McPhie of Bozeman, MT was second, with Eliza Outtrim of Hamden, CT third.
The USA 1-2-3 podium was only the second USA women's podium sweep in history. For the men Patrick Deneen of Cle Elum, WA finished third. Competiton at Deer Valley continues Friday with aerials, and closing out at Deer Valley is the always exciting dual moguls on Saturday.
