The iconic Sundance Film Festival (Jan. 17 - 27) has rolled into Park City, Utah. While Main Street is sure to be clogged up with fans, moviegoers and maybe even celebrities, hopefully the slopes will clear out for skiers less interested in the revelry.
If you happen to be in town for Sundance, though, you may want to stroll Main Street after the lifts close to get a taste of what Sundance is all about. If you don't mind braving the crowds, you might even consider dining out, which is guaranteed to be a lively time.
Here's a guide to dining in Park City. Although Main Street alone boasts numerous restaurants, some favorites include:
- Ruth's Chris Steak House: Enjoy a fine steak dinner in the casual elegance of Hotel Park City. Ruth's Chris gets it right every time - from the appetizers to the entrees, the drinks to the desserts.
- Talisker on Main: Talisker offers a unique five-star dining experience in a modern yet intimate setting. The entrees combine unexpected flavors, resulting in dishes you truly can't find anywhere else in the city.
- Chimayo: The restaurant's beautiful exterior is nothing compared to its savory Southwestern cuisine. There's a reason this place is so popular - a dinner at Chimayo is truly an unforgettable experience.
- Cisero's: "Let our family entertain yours," is this classic Italian eatery's motto, a sentiment echoed in the kid-friendly restaurant's spacious dining room, generous portions and attentive service.
