Team USA Ski Cross' Joe Swensson 3rd In Val Thorens

Team USA Ski Cross athlete Joe Swensson (Niantic, CT) captured the first Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup podium of his career with a third place finish in Val Thorens, France.

Switzerland's Armin Niederer won with Canada's Brady Leman in second while U.S. Freeskiing's John Teller (Mammoth Lakes, CA) missed qualifying for the final and finished 40th.

The Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup continues Dec. 22-23 with back-to-back races in Innichen/San Candido, Italy.
