On chilly, rainy fall days nothing lifts the spirits better than a good ski flick. This year, there's a flock of new ones and here are a couple just to get you stoked.
Teton Gravity Research (TGR) offers "The Dream Factory" which premiered earlier this month in Jackson, Wyoming. An epic type production filmed mostly in Alaska that highlights some of the iconic monster lines but also gets to plug in some urban segments not usually associated with AK.
"The Dream Factory" follows Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Seth Morrison, Dash Longe, Daron Rahlves, and many more skiing and riding in places we only dream about.
Also on tap is Poor Boyz Productions: "We: A Collection of Individuals" which stars Bobby Brown, Dane Tudor, Banks Gilberti, Pep Fujas, Sean Pettit, Cam Riley and more shot on locations including British Columbia, France, Switzerland, Colorado, Washington, Alaska. Montana and beyond.
Warren Miller ski films are, of course, a time honored harbinger of the pending ski season, an annual and traditional stoking of the hype. This year's production - the 63rd if you have seen all the others and lost count - by Warren Miller Entertainment is Flow State.
Check out the trailers and tour dates to see if any are near you or just buy the videos and have your own party.
