aspenCanadian Manuel Osborne-Paradis gave the hometown crowd a lot to cheer for as he raced to a gold medal win in the Lake Louise Audi FIS Ski World Cup Super G. This was Osborne-Paradis' first World Cup Super G win and following him on the podium were Austrians Benji Raich and Michel Walchhofer.

More for the home crowd came with Erik Guay and Robbie Dixon finishing 4th and 5th. Ted Ligety finished 8th and Andrew Weibrecht 12th - from the 26th slot - for the U.S.

The men now swing down to Beaver Creek, Colorado next week for the Birds of Prey racing. Check the calendar for all upcoming men's Audi FIS Ski World Cup events.
