Summer Ski Resort Activities

When you are looking for things to do this summer, don’t forget your favorite ski resort. Many resorts offer four season activities and the support we give our local and favorite resorts in the off-season can only help the area expand and improve winter facilities. Here are this week’s featured resorts and a little of what’s happening on the mountains:

Northeast

Mid-Atlantic

• Mountain Creek Ski Area, NJ - Cool off in the summer at the Mountain Creek WaterPark, a truly unique park carved into the natural mountainside, and featuring over 26 rides and attraction.
• Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort, AL - Cloudmount offers Golf and horseback riding and hiking all summer long or rent a chalet for a quiet getaway.

Midwest

• Alpine Valley, OH - During the summer months Alpine Valley offers an abundance of natural beauty and the ideal setting for receptions, bar mitzvahs, banquets, class reunions, company outings, weddings, receptions, reunions, anniversary parties and even dances. Rockies

Far West

• Schweitzer Mountain Resort, ID Located in The Selkirk Lodge, the Solstice Center for the Healing Arts offers a wide range of integrative therapies from oriental bodywork to therapeutic and relaxation massage. Summer at Schweitzer also includes the Adventure Camp, hiking, disc golf, tennis, horesback riding. and huckleberry picking.
• Homewood Mountain Resort, CA - This summer Homewood Mountain will again play host to the 2009 Lake Tahoe Music Festival. Also don't miss the Gar Wood's 'Pier Pressure' Deck Opening Party on June 24th.
