Squaw Valley USA and Jonny Moseley are set to host the 2009 Sprint US Freestyle Championships this Thursday, March 26 through Sunday March 29. It has been 22 years since Squaw last hosted the Freestyle Championships, and with less than a year until the Olympics in Vancouver it is fitting to watch our future Olympians perform at the home of a past Olympic games.
In addition to the world-class competitions, Squaw Valley USA is also providing off-hill entertainment for all to enjoy. A Friday night party at 22 Bistro, where everyone is invited to mingle with competitors and freestyle skiing greats, will have Chef’s specials, drink specials, and select specials from the menu from 7 to 10 pm. The Twenty Two bartenders will step aside as freestyle skiing legends, like Brad Holmes, take over as guest bartenders for the evening. Saturday brings a live hip hop pool party on top of the mountain, and a Saturday night concert at the Olympic Village Lodge.
