Stuck On A Mogul?

Sunday February 22, 2009
If you are reading this on Sunday, I'm on my way to Aspen to take part in a 3 day intensive mogul clinic - Bumps For Boomers. If you are reading this later on this week, I'm probably up to waist or higher in moguls.

Bumps For Boomers is an innovative ski lesson program that was designed from the ground up, and on 95cm skiboards, to quickly teach intermediate level Baby Boomer and senior skiers how to ski moguls and how to ski powder. Joe Nevin, Founder and Coach, will be the first to tell you that the techniques he and his instructors teach will work for intermediate skiers of all ages. I've seen a video of father and daughter taking the program and both were improving their skills.

For anyone who has ever been stuck on a mogul - that's me in the photo a few years ago - or afraid to head down one of those dastardly bumped up trails with an ominous name like "Widowmaker" this could well be the clinic to put all of us hesitant mogul mashers over the tops.

Joe Nevin says the bottom line is "Our coaching method in combination with skiboard training produces the fastest, easiest and lowest anxiety way for you to become a confident mogul and powder skier." I'm there Monday morning so stayed tuned for my reports.
