Happy Holidays 2008

Our winter has just started and already we've been blessed all around this country with some remarkable snow storms. There is snow just about everywhere there's a ski resort and skiing everywhere there's snow, lifts or no lifts.

Tomorrow many of us will be home with family and more than a few families will be home when they had hoped to be on ski vacation. However, let's look at it this way - snow is always just as white this side of the fence as the other.

With the price of gas less than half what it was in the summer a good ski weekend or a day trip is a lot cheaper. Add on more savings when you find the super deals and discounts in your region and your "staycation" is taking shape in your head right now.

That you be as happy as you were when you first ran through a snow storm with your mouth open,

That you find your snow angel again,

And no matter where you are I wish your snows be gentle and deep.
