World Cup Ski Races Start Today

The Audi FIS Alpine World Cup opens this weekend on the Rettenbach Glacier above Soelden with a women's giant slalom on Saturday, followed by the men's race on Sunday.

Both events will be available for same-day streaming on universalsports.com and will air on Universal TV on Oct. 31 at 7 pm and 8 pm. ET, respectively.

Live timing also will be available each day on the U.S. Ski Team web site, beginning with first run action at 3:45 am. ET.
