Whether you're a beginner buying your first snowboard or a seasoned shredder looking to upgrade, there's a blizzard of snowboard brands to choose from. The largest is Burton, a Vermont-based company that began building boards back in 1977 and pioneered the sport. Burton sells dozens of models designed for a range of snow conditions and riding styles. At the other end of the snowboard, spectrum are boutique brands like Kindred, which calls Vancouver home. They craft a limited number of boards by hand each year using locally sourced wood.

Whatever your style, there's a snowboard brand for you. Happy riding!
