With fall just around the corner there is no better time to check out the manufacturers' new lines of 2008-09 ski boots. To say there are a lot of choices is a definite understatement. For example, Atomic is offering five series of boots with over 50 models and many colors while Nordica puts up 7 series and about 45 models.

As you might expect, Lange, Fischer, Rossignol, Tecnica and Salomon all have new and returning models for this season.

I've asked Ray Rice, longtime Surefoot manager and bootfitting expert, to give us an overview of this year's ski boots. Here are Ray's 08-09 ski boot reviews.
