Just because the meetings are held September through March doesn't mean the members are going to let you starve the rest of the year. There is a Ski Chow Cookbook link on the web site to keep you going year-round.
The Bucks Mount Ski & Snowboard Club was founded in 1969 by a small group of enthusiastic skiers from the Langhorne, Pennsylvania area. For most of these years, the business meetings have been conducted at the Jesse Soby American Legion Post.
Some of the weekend trips head to Okemo, Sunday River, Wildcat, Stowe, and Sugarbush. While destination resort trips include Whitefish, Montana, Winter Park, CO, also Tignes and Val d'Isere in France.
The Bucks Mount Ski & Snowboard Club holds year-round social activities including an Annual Ski Club Banquet, held this year at the Yardley Country Club in Yardley, PA.
Membership includes over 200 adults and a wide range of ages, from 4 & 5 year olds to persons in their senior years and beginners to experts. Once you are a Bucks Mount Ski & Snowboard Club member you can become a member of the Death Marchers. I think you have to vow to stay on the snow all day - or opt for the Anti-Death Marchers - I'm not quite sure where they spend the day - but it sounds like fun.
