WCSN.com World Cup Coverage Continues Today

Aksel Svindel, Norway, won the Men's GS today with Ted Ligety of the US second, Kalle Palander, Finland, was third. Bode Miller of the US, training independently, was a surprising 5th after doubts as to whether recent injuries, and little practice, would allow him to race.

Italy's Denise Karbon won the opening Women's GS, on Saturday, with Julia Mancuso of the US second and Austrian Kathrin Zettel third. SlalomWorld Championship Sports Network's (WCSN), exclusive broadcast coverage of the 2007-08 International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup season continues today, Sunday, Oct. 28, with more alpine races from Soelden, Austriaavailable at noon ET today on WCSN TV.

WCSN.com, in partnership with the FIS World Cups and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, will provide full event coverage in alpine, cross country, freestyle, nordic combined, ski jumping, and snowboarding. Many of the events will be available live or same-day.
