Ski Channel to Get Big Air with Jonny Moseley

Monday June 4, 2007
As I mentioned last month, The Ski Channel will be launching in early 2008 with all-original VOD and multi-media content (and a long term deal with Time Warner) on everything a person can do on a mountain in the winter and summer including: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, climbing, cross country skiing, rock climbing, backpacking, orienteering, kayaking, caving, as well as numerous off-slope activities

The Ski Channel announced today that they have entered into a partnership with Olympic gold medalist, World Cup champion, and television personality Jonny Moseley. The partnership will make Moseley a spokesperson, on-air talent, analyst, instructor and advisory staff member. On his part, Moseley, who knows a winner when he sees one, has made an investment in the channel.

Steve Bellamy, Founder and CEO of the Ski Channel said, “We want to help grow snow sports by shining a bright light on the stars...Jonny has unique value to us because he has the access, talent and credibility to yank out those hard to reach story points that will help make these characters larger than life."

This just keeps getting better and better. Bellamy is giving us The Ski Channel and now he is adding a “dinner roll” - come on 2008!
