Tips for Skiing Moguls

Saturday January 6, 2007
Interested in skiing moguls? These tips will help you get going, along with providing some advice on what you should, and shouldn't, do.

Also, take a look at what I learned at mogul camp. Camp was an excellent way to learn to ski moguls - the right way. I spent five hours a day for two days on the snow or in the bumps. I practiced a lot of turns - short linked turns, short hop turns, short turns with crunches, short turns with a little edge, a lot of edge, and no edge, slow short turns, and quick short turns. I also got to view my performance on video (and receive a critique). That was interesting, but I do think the instructor rewound the part where I punched myself in the eye with my pole a few times too many!
