Bode Makes Big Catch in Baseball Debut
Monday July 31, 2006
Bode Miller’s one game stint with the Nashua (NH) Pride baseball team was a big success. He raised $5000 for his charity, the Turtle Ridge Foundation and stopped a hit bound for extra bases. Playing left field, Bode made a leaping grab of a line drive that drove him back where he made the catch and fell to the warning track.
Even though he went hitless at the plate, the fans and his teammates appreciated his efforts as the Pride beat Brocton 12-2.
