Aspen Awarded Golden Eagle Award, Gore Gets a Silver Eagle

Aspen Skiing Company in Colorado has been awarded the 2006 Golden Eagle Award for Overall Environmental Excellence by a ski resort. New York's Gore Mountain was awarded a Silver Eagle Award for Visual Impact. Winners of the 2006 Golden Eagle Awards for Environmental Excellence were announced at the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) National Convention and Tradeshow held at the Marco Island Marriott Resort in Marco Island, Florida.
