Some Slovenia Ski Resorts Stay Open Through Labor Day

According to the Slovenian Association of Ski Lift Operators, the 2005-2006 ski season is a whopping success as far as skier visits go, with well over 1.8 million visits so far. Of the 44 Slovenia ski resorts surveyed, the Association reports that six are still open and will stay open through Labor Day. Open for skiing are Areh, Kope, and Rogla in the northeast, and Krvavec, Vogel and Kanin in the northwest.
But , if you want to ski in Slovenia on or before Labor Day you better pack quickly – Slovenian Labor Day is May 1!
