Bode Miller to use his HEAD (skis)

Johan Eliasch, CEO of HEAD NV, maker of popular HEAD skis, has announced that U.S. superstar skier Bode Miller has decided to join the HEAD Alpine Racing Team. The partnership will be effective immediately and run through 2008. It guarantees that Miller will both race in the 2006-07 season and will be racing and promoting HEAD skis.

True to Bode’s hands-on style he will be heavily involved in the engineering of HEAD’s future racing equipment. Miller joins fellow American Caroline Lalive, Austrians Johann Grugger and Christine Sponring, Italian Patrick Staudacher, Marco Buechel from Liechtenstein, and German Maria Riesch to give the HEAD racing team a true international combo of champions. The team will coached by former Austrian HEAD alpine ski racing team member Rainer Salzgeber.
